Minidesk User Guide

Before operating Minidesk, please take note:

  • Make sure no obstacles are in the desk's path.
  • Make sure that the desktop is not touching any walls.
  • Make sure all cords are of appropriate length to accommodate the change in height.

It is highly recommended to RESET the desk prior to use.

 How to reset my Minidesk?

  • Press and hold the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest height.
  • Release the DOWN button.
  • Press and hold the DOWN button again till the LED display reads "RST"
  • Release the DOWN button.
  • Press and hold the DOWN button again until the desk lowers a little bit more, slightly rises and stops.
  • Release the DOWN button. Your desk is now ready to use.

If your desk is not functioning properly, you may need to perform the reset.

How to customize the memory presets?

Use the UP/DOWN button to find a desired height, then press “M” followed by the number 1-3.

How to use the handset lock(child lock)?

To lock the handset:
Press and hold the “M” button (about 8 seconds) until the LED display switches to “S-“ and then to “LOC”. Release the button.

To unlock the handset:
Press and hold the “M” button (about 8 seconds) until the LED switches from “LOC” to the height display. Release the button.

Set the height that is shown on the LED display?

  • Hold the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest height.
  • Release the DOWN button.
  • Measure the distance from your floor to the top surface of the desk. If the number on the LED display does NOT match your measurement, you can change the number following these steps:
  • Press and hold the DOWN button again till the LED display reads "RST"
  • Press and hold the "M" button (for about 5 seconds) till the LED number display is blinking. 
  • Use the up/down button to change the value of the starting height till it matches your measurement.
  • Wait about 5 seconds until the display return to "RST".
  • Finish the reset process by pressing and holding the DOWN button again until the desk lowers a little bit more, slightly rises and stops. Then release the button.

Set the height upper and lower limits?

Make sure the power is ON and a number reads in the LED display
(if no number appears, please follow the Troubleshooting method below):

  • To Set the Upper-Limit Position:
    Use the UP/DOWN Buttons to move the base to the desired maximum-height position. Press the “M” button and release. Press the UP button and release. The LED display will flash “S-“. Press and hold the “M” button (about 2 seconds) until the LED display changes to “999”. The display will automatically return to the selected height. The new upper limit is now set.
  • To Remove the Upper/Lower Limit Positions:
    Press and hold the “M” button until the LED display flashes “S-“ and then release it. Within 5 seconds, press the “M” button again and hold for 2 seconds. The LED display will change to “555” and then automatically return to the height display. The upper and lower limits are now removed.

Troubleshooting common Issues:

If the LED display shows "HOT", let the motor cool down for 20 minutes.

If the LED display shows an error message ("ER1" - "ER13"), ensure that all your wired connections are secure.

All your wired connections should include:
1. Legs to control box for both sides (Including extension cable).
2. Control box to control handset.
3. Power cable for the control box.

Everyday care and cleaning:

Severe dirt and fluids should be removed immediately by a dry cotton cloth for everyday's cleaning.

DO NOT use the following solutions for cleaning of table tops;
- Harsh Cleaner or Solutions (Such as Thinner).
- Alcohol based solvent cleaner.

Treatment of stains:

Normal stains
Stains which are not removable by wiping with a dry cloth can be removed by wiping a damp cotton cloth over the affected area. Do always use a dry cotton cloth to wipe it dry as soon as the stain is removed.

Grease stains
Wipe a damp cotton cloth over the affected area. Wipe dry with a dry cotton cloth. If necessary, dip the cloth in a mild soap solution or detergent dissolved in water, wring the cloth nearly dry and wipe the troubled area. Immediately, dry with a clean soft cloth.
